The high quality products produced by Celina Aluminum Precision Technology (CAPT) associates, the state-of-the-art technology utilized to manufacture these parts and the international viewpoint for providing quality to the world at a reasonable price all stem from the expertise and experience of Honda Foundry, the parent company of CAPT.
Since its founding in 1963, Honda Foundry has instilled this viewpoint in every aspect of the aluminum foundry business. As a part of its commitment to provide the most competitive and highest quality products for customers worldwide, Honda Foundry expanded beyond Japan and today has operations or affiliations in Europe, Southeast Asia and America. Celina, Ohio, is the sole North American location for Honda Foundry's world-renowned engine component manufacturing.
True to our roots, CAPT manufactures only the highest quality products for Honda of America Mfg. and its customers worldwide. Our commitment to quality, technology and customer satisfaction reaffirms that CAPT represents precision in the making.
At CAPT, we understand the customers' needs for the best products. We also know that customers look beyond the product and expect precision in every phase of the operations.
Quality, technology, precision, on-time delivery and cost competitiveness all play an integral role in business today. Keeping all these in mind is moving CAPT toward U.S. leadership in engine component manufacturing.
Quality - In Every Job
Every associate takes pride in assuring quality in every job. From purchasing and logistics through manufacturing, from die maintenance and equipment service through quality control, from administration through accounting. We pay attention to every detail in order to exceed the expectations of each customer - whether a direct customer, such as Honda of America Mfg., or the ultimate customer who drives a Honda automobile made with CAPT products.
Technology - A Cornerstone of CAPT
Our plant is highly automated with sophisticated machinery and robotics engineered to melt aluminum ingots and cast products.
Precision - At the Heart of Our Products
Robots perform a series of tasks to assure consistency as well as associate safety. Tolerances of each product are carefully controlled. For example, the diameter of each piston is controlled to within 15 microns - about one fifth the diameter of a human hair.
Delivery - Redefines Our Commitment to the Customer
With "just-in-time" delivery, the scheduling and delivery of products exactly on time to meet customer requirements have never been more important.
Cost Competitiveness - The Bottom Line
CAPT is committed to both quality and cost - to provide value to the customer. Without one, we can't provide the other.
